Brushes fair poorly with pet household

A misadventure with a cat toy and moist hair ball did the brushes in after only 10 uses. I appreciate that the Roomba doesn't get caught as much as older versions, but if it sucks up a string or it needs to stop running more quickly. By the time it quits the fins on the brushes are ripped.

By far one of the best products I've ever bought. I have a St. Bernard a golden retriever and a large cat so I have a lot of pet hair. I have to clean the rollers everyday because of it but other than that I don't mind. On a plus side I will be buying the bin to empty it.

I've read the views on this page. And the one most of the people complain about is the hair wrapping around the rollers. Honestly I don't have that problem. If clean it at least once a week you should not have those types of problem. And for the people with a large family and pets. I would suggest to clean it every other day. No offense to anybody this just my opinion. Mine works great and I haven't had any problems with mine.

I don't know what the others are complaining about. This this is the best since sliced bread. The rollers I have on it have been running for 6 months with no problems. Yeah the get a little beat up... from normal wear and tear. But they still do their job! The key is actually following the maintenance schedule and cleaning the brushes and machine out once a week. And they engineered this machine so you can do a full clean of it in 5min... Not long at all! If it should fail anywhere it would be my house... but it keeps going! Like I said earlier... I just replace the brushes after 6 months... and not because they were shot... but because they were getting older. And we run that thing almost every day most of the house. I have a high shedding cat, a dog and two women with longer hair in my house. It does a fine job!

Brushes Are Not Durable

The brushes are easily cut by thread and hair and lose the ability to make a clean sweep of debris.
