I've used both the vacuum and floor washing robots since their arrival a few days ago. I have not used the shop vac one so can not comment on that one yet.

The vacuum bot ("KYN") works more effectively than the floor washing one ("JEN"). JEN will get stuck during certain floor type transitions but KYN has no problems with going from carpet to hardwood to tile. However, both have been great additions to the cleaning arsenal so far. On the plus side, they clean underneath and around furniture. Where they do clean, the robots do a very good job. On the downside, I have found that the robots may not cover a room entirely. It may go over the same spots multiple times but there are spots it will miss or can not access. (Don't throw away that old vaccum cleaner and mop yet.)

There is lots of routine cleaning that needs to be performed on these robots. Nothing difficult, and only takes a few minutes after it completes the floors. I still have not tried the scheduling function so am looking forward to using that feature. All in all, not perfect but a great addition to the cleaning arsenal. And you can't beat the time saved on cleaning floors!

We love our new vacuum. What a thorough cleaning he does! He is quiet, quick, and cleans extremely well. Our carpet, tile floors and wood have never been cleaner. I have had cleaning ladies since 1976 and Buddy does a better job without the hassel of hired help! Would give him a 10 out of 10! Try one, you will see how clean your house gets with very little effort from you. Shouldn't everyone have a robot, after all we were all looking forward to owning one some day to help us, well HE IS HERE RIGHT NOW. Honest.
