After using a Polaris vac system for several years, using the Verro is a dream. No more screwing around with pump settings, backwashing after vacuuming, or having to deal with an auxiliary pump. Just plug it in and drop it in the pool.

As someone pointed out - it's more expensive but I figure the 3 hours a week I spend in the pool instead of cleaning the pool is more than worth it.

Works well, but seems way overpriced for what it is. Relies on random motion, not programming, to cover pool. Cannot leave it on all the time, or leave it on a timer, or schedule it. You must push a button and reset it to run. The current Roombas are far more sophisticated machines yet they cost half as much as this machine.

Pros outweigh the cons for pool cleaning
By rn4him2000Verified Reviewer from Porterville CA on 6/8/2007
Pros:
Durable, Good Value, High Quality, picks up all the particle
Cons:
heavy to take out of pool
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

This pool cleaner is by far the better between the pool sweep, and the Irobot. The Irobot picks up small particles that would ordinarily clog the pool fiters. Just empty the vacumn bags, and away it goes. It has not gotten hung up on steps, or pool bars, which was a constant problem with a regular pool sweep. Before buying this product I shied away from being involved with my pool, now because of Irobot I am more involved with the everyday runnings. The down side is it is a little heavy to take out of the pool.

It is so easy to set up that it is fool proof. Love the design. Could be cheaper, but that can be said for everything. Awesome design!
