Comments about iRobot iRobot Create® Premium Development Package:
The iRobot create is an excellent robotics kit. The virtual walls, remote, home base and rechargeable batteries are great accessories. But this kit is not for beginners. Users must be knoledable with computer I/O, programming, and electronics to make the must use and fun out of it.

The iRobot Create is an excellent base robot for empirical observation and analysis of operational systems. Engineering students arrive thinking that all problems of systems design can be overcome through careful planning. Create can easily be used to demonstrate to University and High School classes how the theoretical plan is always affected by physical properties of the environment. Thus this the Create robot represents a critical tool for research courses teaching the ongoing empirical process and proper methodologies for managing the the Scientific hypothesis.

We are using this base in the botball competition that our son is in. Fantastic capabilities! The problem they are challenged to conquer is much more complex now that they have added this base!
The kids learning to progam this are in 6th grade! Amazing. Buying one for our use/ abuse at home. Way to go iRobot!
