Cons
- Needs A Rechargable Base

Comments about iRobot Auto Virtual Wall®:
The virtual walls need a charging base / docking station like the Roomba itself. Currently I have rechargable c cell batteries and take them out after each use. The problem even with the auto feature is, you never know when the batteries die. Then the pet is off and getting damaged in another room. Please fix this! No one likes the battery concept. You can do better.

Comments about iRobot Auto Virtual Wall®:
I have an open concept home and when I want to clean just one of the rooms the wall helps me keep it in that area.
Comments about iRobot Auto Virtual Wall®:
Virtual Wall: Too hard to open to insert batteries. iRobot is a very good product; why put batteries in such a cheap housing. I would recommend the iRobot but not the Virtual Wall.

I just bought the 560 model and really love it. I am unable to get the bottom off the virtual walls to install the batteties...I so much need these to work. Ican recommend the 560 but I can't recommend the Virtual Walls until I get some help putting in the batteries.

Comments about iRobot Auto Virtual Wall®:
I have 4 of the auto virtual walls, They work better then the manual ones scince I forget to turn them off and the batterys drain!
With the auto one put the switch to auto and roomba turns it on or off for you.
if you have a thick carpet it is useless it falls over on its side just put on a square board or something for it to stand up on and its good

- W auto scheduled Roombas
Comments about iRobot Auto Virtual Wall®:
Have my Roomba scheduled to clean house every morning automatically. My auto virtual walls are great in that I don't have to deal with turning them on and off. The whole point of an automatic roomba is screwed up if you have to manually turn on a bunch of virtual walls--this automatic wall fixes that issue. The insanely long battery life is great, too. I've had mine on for 4 months straight and they are still working fine. Anyway, like them very much. Only sad that they don't work for my original model Scooba as it would be nice if they did. I imagine that the 500-series Roombas probably send out an IR signal or something that triggers the auto wall to start transmitting actively its own signal--and I suppose the original model Scooba (the blue one) probably doesn't have that capability. Don't know if it would work with the newer Scooba's or not. Anyway, if you need any virtual walls and want to have your Roomba automatically go around and do its thing without you having to worry about anything--this is a good thing to have.

Comments about iRobot Auto Virtual Wall®:
I have no problem with getting them to stand up. I really like that I can just set them up an leave them. That way I can have my roomba scheduled to run each night with no extra steps for myself.
The only downside I see is that it is not compatible with my other two iRobot products.
