Please be advised: Despite the description of the home base as "for 500 and Professional Series", this Home Base will not work on the 510 model of the Roomba. This is not noted anywhere in the product description. ARGH.

Be advised that if you need the cord that plugs into the wall, you have to purchase that separately, part #15458176, for an additional $39.99. Chargers for this series are not listed with the other accessories (you can find it if you specifically search for "charger"). It was a rather nasty surprise when I opened the box with the new base. I had to place a second order (with additional shipping) as a result.

I LOVE my Roombas! Right now I have only 3 (I know. Poor me, yeah?).
My Roombas do a better job cleaning ALL of my floors than ANY amount of old fashioned sweeping or vacuuming!
There are people who are SO picky i.e.: "noisy", "leaves wheel tracks", "dog hates it", and other stupid things. My Roombas all go at the same time every day (that's the way I scheduled them) and even all together they are FAR less noisy than ANY vacuum I've ever had! If I look hard enough, I can see small wheel lines but SO WHAT??
Due to a severe accident years ago, doctors have told me not to vacuum or sweep. My Roombas have literally saved my back and my time! I feel so stupid because I didn't get one MUCH sooner! Over the years, I've paid a LOT more money for one vacuum after another so even from a monetary view point, the Roomba makes sense -- and saves cents!
At first, my dogs (German Shepherds) thought it was a toy and one was afraid of it but it just took a little time, patience and love and now he's fine with it and so is my cat! We ALL LOVE them!!
The Roomba Scooba is another MUST HAVE!!!
Care for these is also SO much easier than ANY other vacuum cleaner! They TELL you what's wrong and it's always SO easy to take care of! What other vacuum cleaner is going to do that?!
My house has NEVER been this clean -- and it SHOWS!!!
I have Hepa air cleaners so I don't care that these don't have Hepa cleaners. Even if I didn't have my air cleaners, this would be the LEAST of my concerns!
Everyone who comes to my home is amazed by these and LOVES to watch them work! They're so entertaining! I nearly expect mine to jump in the shower with me, scrub me down and wash my hair!
My daughter works SO hard and has a toddler. She gets NO help from her husband and she, too, has back problems so I gave her one and she absolutely LOVES it! It's SO easy AND fun, even her husband now 'helps' her by turning on her Roomba. (wow) By far the BEST gift I've given her to date!!
