I loved this thing when I first got it and told everybody I knew just how great it was but that sure did change. The battery I got with the machine worked for about 14 months which was acceptable. But the next one worked about 7 months and the 3rd worked for about 3 months but didn't hold a charge long enough to clean one room and around 4 months died completely. So that's it for me. I will not buy another junk overpriced battery! So like many others mine sits in the laundry room collecting dust.

Great for getting under furniture and beds but battery life is very disappointing. My vacuum still works but until you come up with a better battery, it will sit in my closet.

I love the product but I refuse to buy another new battery. My last battery lasted less than 8 months. We have allergies and it is great for keeping dust from accumulating under the beds. Poor value for the money.

My Roomba would be convenient if the battery lasted any length of time. Completely dies within a year and at $70. to replace, is not worth it. Totally a waste of money. Roomba company, you have way to many people that have ask for a better long lasting battery. If you can't supply that, I assume you don't care for returning customers.

I received this Romba form my deceased spouse and after a little over a year my battery died!!!! The price of a replacement battery is crazy, with all the money my husband spent on this item and him being deceased now I't has sentimential memories, but he would agree for me get rid of it! i now have a Dyson that works fine with descent customer staffing....

Once the battery goes, that's it. Machine is now worthless. For the money, the company should offer original buyers a substantial discount on either batteries or new machine. For replacement cost of new battery I can buy a new broom, mop, dustpan, bucket, duster, and a lot of vacuum bags.

My roomba got put away when the battery failed to re-charge. I was just about to order a new one and start using it again but decided to read the comments first. Hmmmmm Does anyone know if the battery issue has been fixed? What a shame as these things are so much easier on my bad back.

A COUPLE OF TIMES OF THAT AND FORGET IT. FOR THE AMOUNT OF MONEY THEY COST I CANNOT
UNDERSTAND IN THIS DAY AND AGE WHY THE COMPANY CAN'T COME UP WITH A FIX FOR THAT PROBLEM. I REALLY MISS HAVING IT AS I AM HANDICAPPED.
