Double-stick tape in kit was not helpful. It stuck to the wheel, but not the tread. Super-glued the tread together as instructed. After pressing the ends together for a few minutes while the glue set, the tread broke just past the seam. Second attempt at superglue is underway(this time gluing the tread directly to the wheel). The second tread seems to be holding together, but it may need a second coat of glue to fill in the gaps of the seam. Too bad we couldn't have one-piece replacement treads. I wouldn't mind taking off a wheel assembly to slip it on and it can't possibly be any more difficult than replacing an old-fashioned vacuum cleaner belt. I really liked my original series Roomba, I don't want to have to retire it just because of the tires!

I bought these some years ago to repair the torn tread on my original roomba. The tread tore because the unit in attempting to get itself unstuck from under a piece of furniture or from fringe of carpet spins tires and eventually the tread gets caught and tears. When i went to put the new set of treads on the point where they overlap didn't seem to close like the original tires, they quickly got caught and ripped resulting in me replacing them with the second set i had purchased. I glued the second set on and they worked fine. they are cheap enough that I had bought two sets.

Very easy to apply. No taking apart the wheels. I've done it twice. I did have to super glue one tread to get it to stay on the wheel.

IT IS VERE HARD TO RUN ROOMBA WITH OUT THE TREAD I LOVE MY ROOMBA HAVE 3 AND SCOOBA
