iRobot Mirra™ 530 Full Specifications

Take the work out of cleaning your pool with the iRobot Mirra™ 530 Pool Cleaning Robot. Mirra uses enhanced robotic technology to deep clean pool surfaces and water, removing leaves, hair and dirt, as well as algae, pollen and bacteria as small as two microns.

Removes Large Debris And Small Particles From Pool Surfaces And Water
Designed to clean any type of in-ground pool, Mirra 530 lifts dirt, algae and bacteria off the pool floors and walls with a PVC scrubbing brush, including at the water line where oils and bacteria can build up. Just drop it in, press the CLEAN button and Mirra is off to work, pumping and filtering 70 gallons of water per minute – that's over a gallon a second.

  • Self-Contained Vacuum, Pump And Filter System: Mirra requires no installation, so it works without suction lines or other modifications to existing systems.
  • Active Scrubbing Brush: The PVC scrubbing brush is actively geared to the motors of the robot. This 4:1 gear ratio provides active agitation to the pool surface as the robot moves, allowing Mirra to scrub and lift dirt, algae and bacteria off the pool floor and walls.
  • Pool Types: Mirra cleans any type of in-ground pool.
  • PVA Wheels: These wheels give Mirra sponge-like traction on slick pool surfaces like ceramic or vinyl.

Offers Complete Pool Coverage, Cleaning Floor To Waterline And Everywhere In Between
Mirra 530 uses enhanced robotic technology, including iAdapt® Nautiq Responsive Cleaning Technology For Pools to size up the approximate dimensions of the pool, then chooses the optimum cleaning cycle for maximum efficiency. Mirra provides the most thorough cleaning by making multiple passes over the entire inside of the pool, navigating obstacles and climbing walls and stairs.
  • Gyro Sensor: Detects when and in what direction Mirra has turned, allowing the robot to change direction and prevent the 60-foot floating power cord from getting tangled.

Makes Cleaning The Pool Easier Than Ever
Mirra 530 is the easiest pool cleaning robot to use and maintain, offering single push-and-play operation with the iRobot CLEAN button. When the job is done, two quick-drain valves on the bottom of the robot allow for fast draining and lightweight handling. It's easy to clean the debris out of Mirra's two, top-load filter canisters. Simply lift out the basket and open the trap door.
  • Optional Large Debris Canisters: Choose large debris canisters for heavier pool clean-ups, including those in the fall.
  • Optional Carrying Caddy: This makes it even easier to move Mirra from the pool to its storage area.

        Comments about iRobot Mirra™ 530:

We purchased a Mirra pool cleaner a few months ago and it's done a much better job than any of the other pump driven cleaners we've used previously.

It does a great job picking up sticks, acorns, gravel, dirt, and leaves without ever getting stuck or plugged. It also does a good job (mostly) cleaning our entire pool.

I'm frustrated that the brush doesn't actually come into contact with the bottom surface of the pool to scrub and remove small particles and algae. As well, the floating power cord seems to always get twisted up after one or two cleaning, preventing Mirra from reaching the farthest spots (since the cord creates a fair amount of resistance for Mirra to pull so the robot decides to change directions.) Our unit doesn't return to the place we started the cycle at (which I thought it was supposed to do) and it doesn't clean our rounded entry steps well. It climbs them no problem but doesn't find it's way around to clean each step well.

So overall I love that Mirra cleans up big debris easily and without hassle. I'm frustrated that it doesn't clean the small algae and particulate matter and that it doesn't do everything the company claims it does.

          Comments about iRobot Mirra™ 530:

Mirra cleans more far more deeply and reaches more areas of my pool than my previous Dolphin robotic unit ever did. Mirra is vastly superior to any of the robotic pool cleaners I've seen; and I've shopped a lot. I'm especially pleased with the IRobot company - they quickly addressed an issue I had concerning the Mirra caddy. IRobot has won a loyal customer; I will look for other IRobot products for my home.

Mirra not worth it - false advertising

          Comments about iRobot Mirra™ 530:

I bought Mirra as soon as it went on sale. I quickly found out that it wasn't brushing the pool floor. It would pick up leaves, but not the fine material on the pool floor. I called support, and they ran me through the usual maintenance (clean propellor, adjust floats, etc). When that didn't work, they told me that I needed NEW wheels because I have a concrete (gunite) pool. Are you kidding me??? I have to buy an expensive accessory before I even get started. Nice had they told me before I plunked down the big dollars on this unit. They actually at first told me that would send me wheels for free, but they never came.

I didn't buy the new wheels for the longest time on principle, but I realized since I paid so much money - I would fix the problem and buy them.

Problem is - the new wheels didn't help a bit. Maybe I got a defective unit, but I would NOT recommend this at all.

Mirra is great but I have to disassemble the whole thing when cleaning the Fine Debris Filter Canisters.
Debris gets stuck in the all the seems and you can not lift out the canisters to clean. But all the other features out way that one small issue.
Just takes an extra ten minutes to clean. But saves me over an hour vacuuming the pool manually. Love all the iRobot products religiously. I have the Scooba, Roomba and the Mirra.

            Comments about iRobot Mirra™ 530:

We have an irregularly shaped pool with barstools, a bench and steps. Our Polaris never did a good job of cleaning the entire pool. The Mirra does a much better job, although it occasionally gets stuck behind the bar stools, and it makes a feeble attempt to clean the bench and steps. Picks up fine sediment and probably helps keep algae under control. Great product.

I replaced my Polaris of many years with this because I love the Roomba and Scooba that I own, so I figured I would give it a try. I'm becoming a big fan of their products. This works great. No pumps. Buy an extention cord and toss Mirra in the pool and it cleans really well. The compartments are big and it kind of scrubs the bottom too so the pool is definitely looking cleaner in a couple days. So well done. This is way better than a Polaris.

This is an exceptional product and easy to use. Within 20 mins of unpacking our new unit, which included the 15mins needed to soak the rubber wheel inserts, we had the unit in the pool. The unit ran through its cleaning cycle (while we slept) and parked itself at the shallow end of the pool, where I retrived it the following morning. This was so much easier than our previous unit that operated off of the main system. This is a must have addition.
