Have had my Roomba 630 for a few days now - love it! It is so satisfying to come home and empty her out - the dustbin is always chocka! My only issue is that it struggles to get under the dining table with all the chairs in the way - even though technically it could fit, she tends not to bother and seems to just bump around the outside. This is a nuisance as the dining table is where a lot of the mess is (I have two pre-schoolers!) Tried starting it under the table today, with better results. Oh - and it keeps the kids entertained for ages - better than a TV!

Best appliance choice I have ever made. It cleans like a professional - everywhere, in every corner and crevice, between the carpet and wall, under the kitchen sink, etc. (all THOSE places).
I get ready for work while Louie, my series 630, vacuums tile, carpet, hardwood, over bath mats and area rugs. And the place looks spotless. Less than 24 hours of owning Louie, I bought one for my best friend.

This unit worked like a champ the first 3 months. Now it won't find its home dock on its own. The internet talks about replacing parts. For the price of this it should work like a champ a lot longer than 3 months.

I absolutely love my Roomba 630!! My husband said I was crazy to spend the money on a sweeper but it is worth every penny! I work a very demanding job and would be frustrated when I only have the weekends to clean the house (I'm a little obsessed about clean floors) it is so easy to use my 7 year old daughter can set it up. When I came home the other night my husband said "Jeeves" was in a timeout because he knocked over a floor standing candle holder. I forgive him...he has been an absolute blessing and can't imagine my cleaning life without him:)

This little dynamo cleans our hard floor so well it feels like it was vacuumed and mopped. It also picks up all the pet hair in our carpet and it just keeps going and going. Kind of neat because it knows where the docking station is and stays in the vicinity of the docker when power is low. Auomatcally docks itself for re-charging. Such a great product,we are planning to buy one for the upstairs so we don't have to move this one back and forth.

Since I used these reviews to decide if I wanted one and to see what others had to say about them, it is only fair that I do a review after I purchased one.
In short, OMG! This little guy really works. We have combination hardwood, slate tiles and some carpeting and he does a great job on them all. He gets everywhere, too. Under the bed, under the coffee table, close up to the skirting boards and even around chair legs. And he does not leave much behind- he is very determined and thorough!! We have 2 cats and a dog and the hair he picks up is mind boggling. He seems to move around in this weird haphazzard fashion, but gee, leave him go for a few hours and your floors are super clean and the pet hair and dirt is jam packed into his bin.
I have to admit that for the first few days I just followed him around, as it is pretty fascinating watching this little thing race around your house cleaning your floors. That is why we called him Coolio, as we kept saying - Look at that, look how clean it all is, this is so coolio!!"
Maintenance is very easy and we use the little tower to tell him to stay in one part of the house. I set him an area in the morning and come home to beautifully clean floors in the afternoon. Brilliant!! We are very, very happy.

Wonderful item, used this item all over the house; contrete,tile,hardwood, and throw rugs, great with all. I just wish if could buy one for every room, it cleans all areas and takes it time but does a great job. If i had more i could run them all in each room while i, lay down, cook dinner, take a shower. Let me tell you this is a great thing to have, u could sit back and do anything while it does all the work for you. Wish Irobot would make one for cleaning the shower like they have one to clean the pool. Anyway i could go on and on. Please people don't hesitate on buying one you want be disappoited.

We love our one-year old springer spaniel, but as she grew so did the drifts of dog hair around the house. Roomba not only keeps up with her shedding, but reaches places where our regular vacuuming completely missed (under the bed, under the dresser, etc.). While not exactly best friends, Roomba and the dog don't seem to mind each other...occassionally they can be found quietly slow-motion stalking each other.
Roomba does an equally nice job on our carpets and hardwood floors. Yes, the bin is a little on the small side and fills up quickly. However, we've taken to simply pausing Roomba (by hitting the clean button once), emptying the bin (which takes, literally, five seconds), replacing the bin and sending Roomba on its way to finish the job (just hit the clean button again). Clean up time after a full clean cycle is about 1-3 minutes depending on how much dirt and hair the machine picked up.
