Roomba uses a patented 3-stage cleaning process to vacuum your carpets, hardwood, tile and linoleum floors on its own, automatically adjusting to different floor surfaces as it moves through your home. Roomba 760's latest cleaning features include:

You will be surprised! I was waiting to see the results on my dark carpets and it really does a great job. It collects dust effectively. I am really happy that I bought the roomba. It saves me time in house cleaning and maintains the floors and carpet dust/hair free. The BEST FEATURE is the schedule; you don't need to worry anymore about turning it on. It comes with 2 virtual walls, I don't use them. TO TAKE IN CONSIDERATION: They recommend the more expensive model with lighthouse. I don't have the lighthouse and roomba goes to every room and does an effective job with no need of lighthouse (My house: 3 rooms). It really does a great job and I recommend it. Worth paying for more quality time in your home! :)

While I used the robot I loved it.
It picked up most of the visible dirt and cleaned a large portion of the ground floor (4 rooms). I used the robot only once or twice per week for a year and a few months, and unfortunately its cleaning head needs replaced already.

We have a 14 x 70 mobile home at the lake. On weekends we are in and out all day. The amount of dirt that gets drug in over the course of a weekend would be extremely time consuming to clean up. Instead I run the little roomba 2-3 times on the weekends. It gets a full bin of dirt every time. BIG time saver and allows me to enjoy the weekend. We have dogs and they don't bother it while it's working to clean up their hair. Does a great job.

We've had several models over the years; this is the best and longest cleaning one yet. It rarely gets stuck. It's so nice to just push a button and have it sweep up.
There is a bit of work dumping the bin and cleaning brushes and filters, but nothing too onerous.
This one's brush motor gave up after 2 1/2 years. That's sooner than I'd have liked, but we like it enough to be ordering a replacement AND we'll see if they can fix the old one for backup.

I've had 2 Roombas and the first one got debris in where the motor is and stopped working. There is a fix for this and one company designed it, then they stopped selling the part. I wonder how much iRobot paid them to stop. The 2nd one's charging station broke before I could tell if the same problem was happening with it. Personally I think this companies products "suck".

I use the product every day. It starts on it own. At the beginning it would dock its self. But now I find it every were. The Batteries die to fast so when I get home I have to hunt it down. I do try to keep it up but it is going crazy. I will put it two feet away from the DOCK and it still does not want to DOCK its self.
If it was a thing that could take care of its self i would tell you that you would need this!!!!!!!!11111

Doesn't throw dust particles into the air like a regular vacuum cleaner.
Really does a good job of getting around the perimiter/edges of rooms.
The vacuum strength could be better.
I recommend vacuuming the HEPA filters after each use to extend their life and improve on-going performance.
Overall, better than expected!

I could not be happier with my ROOMBA 760. It is the absolute best thing we've purchased this year. The floors in my home are dark green carpet, I mean really dark green, almost black, so every little speck of debris shows immediately after vacuuming. This can be maddening since my home business deals with fabrics, fibers, thread & batting. I would put off vacuuming because what was the use?! But now the Roomba is programmed to run every morning and the floors have never been cleaner. It is so nice. The cleaner floors have reduced my allergy symptoms and I'm using my inhaler less frequently. This little gadget is so convenient and way less expensive than a housekeeper. I can't believe we waited so long to make this purchase.
